I was dianosed at Xmas with gluten intolerance. I have suffered with anxiety on and off for a few years but not as bad as this.

Just wondered anyone else suffered like this?

Do have a look at our latest newsletter which has a small piece on being coeliac and depression

http://www.coeliac.org.uk/get-involved/local-voluntary-support-group/group/cambridge/page/cambridgshire-coeliac-groups-august-newsletter-issue-2-of-2

I hope it helps put your mind to rest that if you stick to a gluten free diet and also make sure you have a good nutritious diet and maybe take multiviatmin supplements you be ok. Also join a support group it always helps.

Good luck

You are not alone
by: Carol

Anxiety is to be expected when you have to suddenly change something as basic as your eating habits. It can be quite depressing knowing that certain basic foods are now forbidden.

I think my page on depression and celiac disease may help you understand your feelings.

Regards,

Carol
