Seek proper services
by: Anonymous

I am a speech pathologist and you have probably enrolled your son in speech, occupational, and physical therapy services. If not do so as soon as possible.

In the US these services are provided free by our public school services. If you do not know where to find these services, ask your doctor for a referral. If she/he says you son does not need services, CHANGE DOCTORS!

I know you have a big responsibility. Remember to take time for yourself on a regular basis.

May God bless your family.

A little hint
by: Kay (fellow Aspie)

Look up Donna Williams' books and read them. They are wonderful.

Try not to be frustrated with him. Repition is key to learning. Also, if he has trouble focusing, have him look into his palm and do his spelling or math or whatever.

Don't give up. It might seem hard, but it is not impossible. I am 22 and am auspergers and I am graduating from university with high scores in may. And have written a book as well.

I hope this helps.
