Before my very eyes....

I was a happy, healthy, late twenties when I became pregnant. I was at a healthy weight, very active. I gained about 50 lbs while carrying him. Once I had him the weight fell off.

Then all of sudden I gained a ton of weight! No one could give me any answers. I was exercising everyday and watching was I was eating.

Finally I went to a GI doctor and he tested me on a gluten free and dairy free diet and I lost all the weight and then some and I stopped having headaches and was full of energy. It was a weight lifted.

They have done the celiac disease test and they claim I have no gluten allergy. But I'm not going back because when I ever try to eat anything with gluten I feel horrible!

I have the same problem. I work out almost daily and I am over 50 lbs overweight. I don't eat as many calories as needed by any stretch.

I was eating only whole wheat fiber cereal, bread and crackers. I don't drink much milk. I have stopped having pain in my side (after 5 years) since I stopped gluten last week. I think that was my issue.

So, what does the gluten and dairy do to your body that makes it hold onto those calories? Desperate to know...thank you so much! Eve
