celiac contamination from kissing

I have just read that you can be contaminated by giving a kiss to a non-celiac. Has anyone else heard of that?

Yes I have heard of this and actually tell newly diagnosed patients to remember this as well. I run a celiac support group through CSA and when I first went to training/conferences this was pointed out. Reason being that if a non-celiac just ate wheat and still had particles in their mouth and you kiss them-you are getting contaminated! Food for thought, eh?
