	celiac disease and epilepsy by Dee Dee I have had epilepsy for 20 years and I have tried everything to help me stop or control it. I have had 2 brain surgeries a VNS and AED but nothing has helped. I was reading where celiac disease can cause epilepsy and the best way to stop having seizures is to start a gluten free diet. Has anyone stopped or controlled there seizures with a gluten free diet?
