Always ask
by: Anonymous

I agree with the "ask" advice. I had assumed that I couldn't eat fried catfish at my favorite fish house, but when I asked I learned that they have a dedicated frier for the fish and one for the fries. Fish is coated with corn meal only and the slaw is GF. Oh, happy day!!!

YES!!

I bought a book on Restaurants that offer Gluten-Free and it does list many.

However, the best advice I received was from friends: ASK, ASK, ASK. Just ask when you first arrive or ask the waitress, don't be shy.

I am newly diagnosed and 48 years old. My life is SO much better.

Outback Steakhouse has a gluten free menu and The Chocolate Thunder Down Under dessert is gluten-free, YEAH!!! Seriously, It is not as hard as it may seem,

The Opryland Resort restaurants served the best gluten-free foods when I was there for a conference in Nov. 2009 They are awesome. Just ASK!
