gluten free oats

by Anita MacAleavey
(SF CA U.S.)

I thought I had the best breakfast idea going - gluten free rolled oats from Bobs Red Mill. Flax seed kept in the 'fridge and freshly ground to go on the oatmeal, lecithin also kept in the fridge along with hemp seed, sunflower and pumpkin seed. Doesn't that sound nutritionally superior? You bet - topped off with coconut milk that isn't at all coconutty.

Yes - a great breakfast. Only problem was I didn't feel good on it. In fact I was totally exhausted. And so I moved on. No more gluten free oats for me!

Anita, you can try other gluten-free food products. How about those gluten-free snack bars? You can have them instantly, even for breakfast.

Did you have pain when you ate the oats too, or were you just tired? Can we eat eggs on this diet as well? I am just not trying to figure out my symptoms and issues. Thank you, Eve
