I might be gluten intolerant

I am a Norwegian in California, I have lived here for soon 3 years now. I am 57 years young and all my life had problems with bloating, heartburn and stomach pain. I have been in close contact with several different doctors all my life but none of them ever mentioned gluten intolerance. Wednesday evening at church a friend mentioned this to me after we had talked about my stomach problems.
Today I have been thinking back and after reading the symptoms online on several sites, I can see that I'm reading about myself. My immune system is of small cuts that get easily infected. Constant diarrhea, bloated, gas/air cramps, weakness, fatigue and no energy. Thinking back I believe I had all of these symptoms since 1990, I have had gastroscopy several times back in Norway.
The last couple of years it have been getting worse.
While I'm writing this, I think of what I have been eating the last couple of days and I have read what they contain, wheat.
So from this day I'm going on a gluten free diet to see if this is the case for me.
