Is this weight loss normal??

I've been gluten free for 2 months. It's been fantastic in some ways - NO acid reflux or heartburn!

I've had a moderate to severe case, flaring up over the last 15 years and now, practically nothing. Great, right?

Except that I keep losing weight. Sounds like a good thing? Not really.

I have NOT been trying to lose any and do NOT want to, yet I have lost 11% of my body weight in the past month (from 126 down to 112). I don't normally have a weight fluctuation of more than a couple pounds and haven't weighed this little in 14 years (since junior yr in high school). Has anyone else had this type of result?

Hey
You're lucky.
I gained at least an inch in three weeks!!! Which I know doesn't seem like much. But this is the first I've gained in the last 6 years (I used to be a big girl, but worked hard to lose it) and this is the healthiest I've eaten in the last few year. This is also the exact time I joined a gym and began working out again!
Needless to say, gluten is back in my diet. NOT worth it.

My husband lost 30 pounds in the first year we were gluten free. I wouldn't worry too much about it. Eat lots of good fats. Nuts and avocado.
