my experience of living gluten free

by Chris
(Milton Keynes)

Hi I am Chris and I qualified as a chef way back in 1989. I found out I had a wheat intolerance in 1999, after months of being lethargic and having a bloated stomach.

I tried various things, I even went to the doctor, they told me to take glucose tablets when my energy levels were low, no cure.

I had a blood test at an alternative clinic which showed I had a wheat intolerance. After I stopped eating wheat products within a couple of weeks my stomach was back to normal and within a couple of months my energy levels were back up.

I have now set up a website called www.bakingglutenfree.org where I have put my moans and groans on, and I am adding my favourite recipes. I want to help others like me. The reason for the name is that I have not been able to find quality bakery products so have to now bake them myself.
