My incredible GF pancakes

by Naylet
(Macar, RJ - Brazil)

Ingredients:
1/2 cup quinoa flour
1/2 cup Corn Starch
1 Tps Sugar
1 tsp Salt
1 Egg
1 cup milk
1 tsp vanilla

Preparation:
Put together the quinoa flour and the corn starch, sugar and salt. Mix all the dry ingredients and then add the milk, egg and vanilla. Mix well until you have an uniform mix without lumps.

Cook the mix just like you do regular pancakes.... and voila!!!!

It taste really good, I like mines with blueberries, lime juice and maple syrup.

Honestly if you are really picky, you'll miss that "cake" smell that only you can get with wheat flour... but the flavour is worth it!

Enjoy!!!!

I will upload a photo later!!!!!!!!

Carol responds...

Oooh they sound nice, Naylet. I love pancakes for breakfast. I will have to give these a try.

Did you see my recipe for Almond flour pancakes on the site? They are good for breakfast too.

Regards,

Carol
