Starbuck GF muffins

Starbucks has started carrying GF muffin and will continue too, if they get positive feed back. Now is our time to unite and bring GF products to the world of the norm! Please call or write and let them know how much you appreciate this.

I went to my first Starbucks this week, meeting my son, daughter-in-law and new grandson in town. I was not expecting to find anything that I could eat and was wonderfully surprised when my polite request of "Do you have anything gluten free?" was answered in the affirmative. I settled for a chocolate brownie which was really nice, and more to the point did not produce any reaction afterwards. I most definitely said a big "Thank you!".

Having been on the diet for 50+ years I still find it exciting when my dietary requirements no longer prevent me from eating out. As a child my parents and I were always given blank looks when we asked if there was anything gluten free on the menu. The number of times we explained that I couldn't have bread and the waiter replied, "but you can have pasta can't you?" still astound me.

The more we ask for food we can eat when out and about the more likely it is likely to be supplied.
